- Plan to arrive early. Checkin is 45 minutes before your flight.
- Bring the credit card you booked the tour with and your id.
- When you check-in, you’ll be weighed. This is required so we can safely balance the aircraft. Passengers over 250lbs will be charged for a 2nd seat.
- Then, we’ll shuttle you to the heliport for your tour.

- Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee.
- Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.

Our helicopters seat 6 passengers plus 1 pilot.
If New York Helicopter cancels tours due to bad weather, you can reschedule your tour for another day.
- Rescheduling the tour is available 48 hours (2 Days) prior to the tour time.
- Tours rescheduled within the 48-hours of a scheduled flight time will be charged a $100.00 per person rescheduling fee.
- Reservations booked within the 48-hours of scheduled tour time waive their right to a rescheduling accommodation
- Please bring your photo I.D. and credit/debit card used to book your reservation.
- You may not bring purses or backpacks into the helicopter, but will be allowed to store them in a locker for a $2.00 fee.
- The only items allowed onboard the aircraft are handheld cameras, phones, ipads, sunglasses and small wallets.
- Birth certificates or passports for any child under the age of 2 years old.
The agreement with City Hall restricts all tour helicopter companies to flying over water. You will see Central Park and get amazing views of the city, but the flight path will remain along the water. All tour companies must adhere to this agreement.
- Any child under 24 months of age is welcome to ride as a lap child at no charge.
- Children 24 months and over require an individual full-fare seat.
- There is a $45 heliport fee, per person. That does apply to children under 2 years old
- Birth certificates or passports are required for any child under the age of 2 years old.
- A $45 heliport fee is included in the price of the tour.
- There is a $2.00 locker fee if you need to store items not allowed onboard our aircraft.
- If you arrive late, you will be charged a late arrival fee.
- We have a 250lb weight limit, for safety reasons. Passengers are weighed at our facility. Passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.

- New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control. Reservations canceled by New York Helicopter will be issued a voucher that is good for 1 year from the original booking date.
- New York Helicopter Tours requires 48-hours in advance to reschedule a helicopter tour reservation. B. Reservations are required and passengers are responsible to provide accurate contact information on their reservation. New York Helicopter will use this information to advise passengers of any changes. New York Helicopter will not be held liable for inaccurate information provided which causes a disturbance of the scheduled tour.
B. Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers and require a minimum of 5 passengers for the tour to operate (see cancellation policy) which may result in a time or day change by New York Helicopter. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. To ensure availability for a specific time or date, please contact us at 212-480-8300.
C. Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
D. New York Helicopter reserves the right to upgrade passengers on any tour flights.
E. All passengers must have a valid photo ID and the credit or debit card used to book the reservation upon check in.
F. If you are purchasing a ticket as a gift, you must email a scanned copy of your ID and credit or debit card used to make booking, separate from this booking form, to info@newyorkhelicoptertours.com. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation of booking and 100% cancellation fee.
